The core values of CCS are:

1. To promote communication and collaboration between institutions of sinology and sinophone studies in the world, and to endeavor to establish new paradigms of research in relevant fields.

2. To develop young scholars in the context of reconsidering issues emerging from certain cultural phenomena, such as globalization and localization.

3. To establish events and occasions for researchers and scholars to be open to every walk of life, in order to help people reconsider the issues embedded in the public realm and culture, so as to reconstruct a shared life-world of Chinese communities in the global context.
